Golang Job: Backend GO Developer

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Go Developer to contribute to the development of a new provider application built from the ground up using Golang. This role involves replacing legacy systems with a modern, scalable solution and delivering a functional proof of concept to support broader adoption. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in backend development, containerization, microservices, and cloud-native technologies. Key Responsibilities Design and develop backend services using Golang for a new provider application. Build applications from the ground up, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability. Apply microservices and mini-services design principles, including 12-Factor App methodology. Develop RESTful APIs and work with GraphQL and gRPC interfaces. Integrate caching solutions (preferably Redis) and graph databases (preferably Neo4j). Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality software. Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Implement GitOps practices and feature flag strategies. Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and product demos. Contribute to continuous integration and deployment pipelines. Ensure backend systems are observable with robust metrics and alerts. Required Qualifications 6+ years of hands-on Golang development experience (4+ years for mid-level roles). Strong understanding of web-based software development and backend architecture. Experience with: Docker and Kubernetes Microservices design principles and 12FA Java Spring Boot, Kafka NoSQL databases (DB-agnostic development) REST APIs, GraphQL, gRPC Familiarity with: BPM/BRMS tools (e.g., Sparkling Logic, Flowable, Camunda) Caching solutions (Redis) Graph databases (Neo4j) Agile development experience and strong collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience building applications from scratch. Knowledge of GitOps and feature flag usage. Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
